The association works with government, the general public, businesses and community organizations. The Building Contractors Association of Southeast Idaho represents members in all facets of the building industry from general contractors, remodelers and developers to sales and marketing experts, architects, excavators, plumbers, electricians and financial institutions. Additionally, the Building Contractors Association of Southeast Idaho serves as a resource to the public, providing information and referrals to help our community enjoy their construction experience.

Guns, Grub and Gear Auction

Perhaps our most talked about event of the year, our  Guns, Grub and Gear Auction serves multiple purposes. While members chow and place bids on everything from guns, fireplaces and grills, there is also fundraising, community awareness and networking.
The funds raised through ticket sales and auction bids are used throughout the year to fund multiple service projects; Scholarships, Secret Santas, restocking local education pantries, etc.
The local businesses who donate are often surprised to hear of our extensive purpose and volume of money raised during our benefit. Many are more than excited to be given the chance to be associated with such an important cause and give generously.
Providing builders, banks, realtors and other building associates a fun and unique way to extend a hand of thanks to their employees and affiliates.
A fun way to get together and celebrate our association and the talents our members have to offer.

The Construction Combine

The Construction Combine is a joint task force that provides the opportunity to work-aged community members to see what it's like to build with the best.  Potential builders can test out their construction skills alongside of the area top contractors while building sheds for area veterans. Participants walk away with not only valuable skills and warmed hearts, but a list of potential job contacts.
BCA of Southeast Idaho builder members participate in this event and donate their time to teach each student important skills that pertain to the building industry.
This is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and develop lasting relationships.

The Parade of Homes

Come one, come all and don't forget your lunch. Lunch-n- Learns are not your typical networking sessions -- nor are they a dry lecture from the podium. You and your colleagues are the experts: We supply the subject, and you supply the content.
Lunch-n-Learns are held throughout the year at member offices. Please visit our website to see what we have scheduled. If you have a particular business issue you'd like to address, let us know and we'll include it as a topic of discussion.
This is a great opportunity to meet the members, share your knowledge, and develop lasting relationships.
